SecurEvent Solutions partnered with The Stronach Group, 1/ST and Maryland Jockey Club to provide consulting and security event management services for the 148th running of the Preakness Stakes Race. The Preakness is the second leg of horse racing’s Triple Crown. It is the shortest of the three races, at 9 ½ furlongs- roughly 1.2 miles. The event attracts approximately 36,000 guests from around the world and is a ticketed event. The event features both seated and standing viewing options. All concert activities are standing room viewing.
